Designer. Thinker. Maker

about

I’m Joanna.

I graduated from RIT in 2015 and since then I’ve spent my time working with start-ups, designing graphics for the wild world of trade shows, and now currently working in higher-ed creative. And a little freelance here and there.

I’ve always been drawn to the "making" of things. From collaging and fuzzy Lisa Frank coloring books in the late 90s to over-designing my PowerPoint decks in college—I eventually discovered that my true strength lies where logic meets aesthetics. I enjoy order and rules too much to be a fine artist, but I find design to be the perfect middle ground—a delightful balance of creativity expressed through problem-solving.

When I’m not in the Adobe Suite, there’s a good chance I’m working on a reno project in my 1880s home, weaving on a lap loom, watching a period drama, junk journaling, thrifting, or doom scrolling on Instagram.
